Nimita joined THEMA in December 2012 as Senior Partner, Health Outcomes. After completing an undergraduate degree in biotechnology, she completed a Master of Public Health at Sydney University in 2017. She joined THEMA after having worked for several years as a senior consultant and manager in health economics and outcomes research at Health Technology Analysts, and then OptumInsight. Prior to this, Nimita worked as a Research Manager in the Sleep and Circadian Research Group of the Woolcock Institute for medical research. Nimita has worked on reimbursement applications for new drugs, diagnostic technologies, medical devices and co-dependent technologies, and managing the development of clinical practice guidelines for non-profit healthcare organisations. Her experience covers many therapeutic/disease areas including: mental health, cardiovascular disease, pain/neurology, oncology and rare diseases.
