Mia Mudge

Mia Mudge joined THEMA in 2007 as a Senior Partner, Health Outcomes. After graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Sydney, she worked as a consultant in health economics and outcomes research since 2003 at M-TAG and then IMS. Mia graduated with a Master of Medical Science (Clinical Epidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics specialisation) degree at the University of Newcastle in 2012. Through her career in health technology assessment, Mia has worked on a wide variety of projects for pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers and behalf of the Government. This includes managing the preparation of reimbursement applications for new drugs, diagnostic technologies, medical devices and co-dependent technologies in Australia and in New Zealand. Her experience covers many therapeutic/disease areas including oncology, rare diseases, mental health, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, kidney disease and more. Mia has also been involved in evaluating applications on behalf of the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC).
